I was looking for a place on our side of town with chilaquiles and this place made our whole family happy! The servings were hearty, everything was very fresh and hot and the staff was extremely attentive and kind. It is a counter service restaurant, but the staff frequently makes rounds to check on seated guests. Everyone left full and happy and my son was already talking about what he wants to try next time.

A local find with the most authentic greasy yet delicious Mexican food. We ordered enchiladas and quesadillas and mind you the portions looked okay but boy we were so full and stuffed up in the end. Absolutely no space to eat more. We enjoyed our meal and service was so polite and nice.

This is THE place for authentic Mexican food. From streetplaces food to what abuelas make for the familia on domingo. I have almost completed my quest to try everything on the menu and it is all above excellent. They even help me with my Spanish.

I can’t even explain how good this food was. I moved to Ohio from Houston and was out here visiting, and this reminded me of some of the best Houston true Mexican food. 1000/10 would be back when I come back to Indy.

It's been my experience that fantastic Mexican food is rarely found at big restaurants. Rather, it's often found in small hole-in-the-wall spots on a corner plaza somewhere hidden in town. Looking for real, authentic tacos? If so, Mexico City Kitchen is the place for you. Expect a modest menu selection, reasonable prices, and flavors and textures that make you smile from ear to ear and make you wish you would have ordered that extra taco.
